A vision more closely connected to authenticity, quality and creative talent
Renowned Belgian architect Vincent Van Duysen states in an interview published in the first issue of EDIT & Live that luxury is not a word he likes to associate with his work. He prefers to speak of a sense of “sobriety and purity, always striving for authenticity and the essence of spaces and objects”.
He is not alone in expressing this view. Premium brands and the most respected creators have long been moving away from the idea of luxury as mere ostentation, embracing instead a new concept of exclusivity rooted in honesty and authenticity: craftsmanship, respect for the natural world, emotional connection with design, and the pursuit of physical and spiritual wellbeing.
This is the vision of luxury that EDIT & Live aims to reflect in its pages. EDIT represents RBA’s expert perspective: precise, aesthetic and strategic editing. Live reflects the way luxury is experienced, felt and expressed in everyday life.
Architecture, design, fashion, beauty, craftsmanship, jewellery, travel and lifestyle are all part of the editorial content of this new biannual publication, which will be available in leading bookshops and points of sale across Spain’s major cities.
At a time when digital communication seems to dominate everything with its immediacy, RBA is reinforcing its commitment to print publications and its leadership in the Spanish market with a magazine aimed at an audience seeking to enjoy luxury in a slower and more conscious way. Because at EDIT & Live, luxury is not simply a label: it is a way of understanding life.
