American author Don Winslow is coming to the crime fiction festival BCNegra this year, which will take place in Barcelona from 29 January to 4 February. Winslow will be presenting his latest novel, The Force, an extraordinary story about the New York Police Department (NYPD) written after over three years of research. Critics have unanimously praised the crime fiction author, whose book The Power of the Dog and sequel The Cartel won the Premio RBA de Novela Negra award in 2015 and are among his best works. The Force sees Winslow depart from the world of drug dealers and dive into the heart of New York City seen through the eyes of a thrilling protagonist, NYPD Sergeant Denny Malone.
