The Gaziel Biographies and Memoirs Prize

After an initial period from 1996 to 2001, the Fundación Conde de Barcelona and RBA Libros is once again awarding the Gaziel Biographies and Memoirs Prize.

The objective of this new era is to make a contribution to the recovery of Catalan and Spanish contemporary historical memory. Eligible works — diaries, collected letters, biographies and historical works that contain a personal or collective account of a particular period — can be submitted for the prize, which is worth €20,000.

Jury decision announcement: Throughout December.
The competition is open to works written in: Catalan or Spanish.
Prize money: €20,000
