The first literary competition for thrillers and detective novels in Catalan, its aim is to become deeply rooted in the tradition of the Catalan thriller, as exemplified by Rafael Tasis, Manuel de Pedrolo and Jaume Fuster.
Established by the Department of the Interior, Institutional Relations and Participation of the Generalitat of Catalonia, in cooperation with the publisher La Magrana and the bookseller Paco Camarasa, the Crims de Tinta Prize for Thrillers and Detective Novels is €25,000 for the winning entry.
The competition is open to works written in: Catalan.
